For Fishbon to grow it needs to begin to look beyond Santa Barbara. New productions can be built and premiered here, but to get recognition and funding they will need to tour. Alan’s Fire Sculptures have been a notable success (at Burning Man, Xara, San Francisco Fire Arts Expo, the Crucible Festival) and should contunue to tour, but we need to do more. Laser grafitti is a project in the works. This year, we plan to begin touring Fishbon projects to Los Angeles and San Francisco. We’ll also outfit a 23′ step van as a mobile platform for a variety of pieces, including video and large scale interactive adventures.
